He has served as President and CEO of the D.C. Chamber of Commerce, Senior Policy Counsel at Google, Counsel to the Senate Committee on Science, Commerce & Transportation, Special Counsel to the General Counsel of the Federal Communications Commission and an Associate with the law firm of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom. Before his career in law and technology, Professor Wingo served for more than six years as a Navy SEAL officer. He is a graduate of Yale Law School and the United States Naval Academy.

Maj. Gen. Eric Vollmecke

As a Senior Leader in the Air Force, Eric led organizations with up to 2,500 personnel and directed a $600 million acquisition budget. He concluded his career returning to active duty serving on the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Strategic Plans and Policy Directorate (J5) as the deputy Director Politico-Military Affairs, where he was involved in shaping policy and operations in Africa for the Chairman, Offices of Secretary of Defense and with the National Security Council.  Previously, he served as the Air National Guard (ANG) Assistant to the Commander for United States Air Forces in Europe and Air Forces Africa. In this role he directed the full-spectrum war fighting air, space and cyber operation capabilities of the Air Reserve Component to support Combatant Commanders throughout Europe, Africa and parts of Asia encompassing 110 Countries. In response to strategic reductions in Air Force personnel, he created new models to bring cost effective mechanisms to leverage Reserve forces to support increased and sustained operations tempo.  Serves as a Senior Fellow to the Armed Forces Staff College.
